Where Are We Based
Gadchiroli is a town and a municipal council in Gadchiroli district in the state of Maharashtra, central India. It is located on eastern side of Maharashtra, and is the administrative headquarters of the district. The HDI (2002) of Gadchiroli was 0.22, the lowest in the State of Maharashrta and that is where we have focussed our efforts, for the betterment of those most neglected. Occupied mostly by tribes and those belonging to backward and underprivileged classes, this district suffers from a high infant mortality rate, cruel customs like KurmaGhar, extreme women’s rights violations, lack of education and health infrastructure
